We sure hope so! And with the Post Time at the Ratliff’s III sale now in the books, we’re ready to move on to our next venture — the tankbark trail!
Like many Jersey breeders, a favorite pastime is loading some of our lovely ladies on the trailer, getting them gussied up and showing them off in the ring.
If this happens this year, we have high hopes River Valley Excitation Radiant-ET (above), Excellent-91%. Last year, “Radiant” stood second in the senior two-year-old class at the International Jersey Show and placed fourth at the All American Jersey Show. She also topped her class at the Illinois State Fair and was tapped Intermediate Champion. This year, she will show as a senior three-year-old and is enrolled in the National Jersey Jug Futurity.
In the Rear View Mirror: Post Time at Ratliff’s III
A first choice female out of “Radiant” sold at our recent Post Time at the Ratliff’s III sale (below) for $5,700 to the Quite Something Syndicate. With the purchase, syndicate owners have the right to choose from either “Andreas” or “Kid Rock” heifers due March 2021.
In all, 111 lots sold at Post Time III for an average of $2,206 on 111 lots. Take a look at this gallery to see highlights.
